Since 1990, Marie Stopes Ethiopia has been providing high-quality family planning, maternal and child health, and HIV/AIDS service across the country.
We operate in every single region of the country, delivering services and information to the country’s underserved communities in a number of different ways.
How we deliver our services
Our centers
We currently operate 20 centres across Ethiopia. These centres provide quality family planning services and other sexual reproductive health services.
Outreach
Our outreach services teams consist of doctors, paramedics and drivers who travel to hard-to-reach and underserved parts of the country.
BlueStar clinics
Our private sector provider (or social franchises), BlueStar, deliver high quality sexual reproductive health services through a network of more than 500 clinics across Ethiopia.
Call centre
Our clients are always free to contact us with any concerns or queries they may have. Our friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff are there to guide our clients on a variety of issues.
Public sector strengthening
Marie Stopes Ethiopia aims to work within and help improve the health systems countrywide, providing policy support and advocacy.
Social marketing
We use social marketing to ensure that people have the option to buy high-quality, sexual and reproductive healthcare products in a location that’s convenient.
